Get to know RMH’s Creative Director, Geoff Dunn!

Geoff received his B.S. in Visualization from Texas A&M University and he’s been a part of the RMH family for the past five years. Geoff has accomplished a lot since he joined the team including being awarded ten GDUSA awards.

What is your favorite project you’ve worked on at RMH? Why?
One of my favorite recent projects is the video that we created for NAIOP Houston’s 2020 Hall of Fame ceremony in January. Though the project was not design-heavy, I’ve always loved video production and this was a great story to have the opportunity to tell. I also have to give credit to my awesome team; the video would not have turned out as good without them.

Why do you enjoy working at RMH?
It’s probably super cliché, but I enjoy working at RMH because of the team and culture. Projects and clients come and go, but what makes a place special is the people you work with. It’s invaluable to know your team has your back and that they’re willing to do what it takes to get the job done right.

What advice do you have for young designers starting out their careers?
Keep an open mind and listen to new ideas and critiques, and never stop learning. Some of my best work has been the result of listening to others, even if they did not have a background in design. A great design idea can come from anyone.

If you were stuck on an island what three things would you bring?
A boat. Dad jokes aside, if survival is the name of the game, I would bring a large fixed blade knife, a fire steel & striker, and a medium stainless steel pot. My choices are based on my super extensive and professional survival training – watching TV shows such as Alone.
